Bracket 4 will be for the more experienced Bracket 3 racer and new racers that wish to run a footbrake class other than Bracket 2. You guys know what we are trying to do here so please don't try to make it complicated. It is not designed for old Bracket 2 racers. I would hope that all of you would encourage possible new racers to enter Bracket 3 & 4 so they could get some comfortable seat time. We start the 2010 season in a couple of days so lets all enjoy our track & RACE.
Thank you,
Gary

I second that motion. I was behind a car Sat. that was running low 6's and all he had on was a tee shirt.

I do try to race but rules are rules. Why worry about only some but not all the rules? I guess it should be up to who ever wants to follow which rules huh Chris?

you sound like a roundy round racer..but yes rules are rules..but if you follow them great and thats a good thing..but why worry about everyone else? if they dont wanna go by them let the track handle it..

Wait a minute wasnt that what we were talking about? Having cars checked for safety items. And yes I have ran roundy round and had alot of fun. I am only speaking my mind and so are you. Although looking at things the way that it looks like you do shouldnt it be up to me if I have a drive shaft loop and a nutral switch? I guess it looks like we both are having a bad day so I will let it go. I just dont want to see anyone hurt or on fire. Sorry if you took what I was saying the wrong way. Im no threat anyway because I cant cut a good light for nothing.

well, about the safety rules, on the track I look out for #1 (me) I trust all the cars I get it with the safety equipment that I choose to wear. I cant say anything about anyone else if common sense doesnt kick in to say what safety you need on your car to run the times you run then thats why you sign the waiver at the front gate. I'm definately not saying I dont care about others health or anything like that but If you start teching cars every weekend for safety equipment and certs you basically will cut half the cars that will show up to race and basically the car count is low already. So I have to agree with Chris all you can do is look out for #1 and hopefully everyone else has enough common sense to know if the car has enough safety to run as fast as they do

When I say safety I mean for everyone.. Neutral safety switch- someone cranks car it jumps into your car or worse YOU, Drive shaft loop-you do a burnout driveshaft flies out , or worse your on the track you go over or it does and wrecks other car, Long studs- wheel comes off---just imagine that one. People die from things just like this, and hey lets face it we all love to stand too close...at the line. We can all race SAFE, and If you wear a fire jacket is your own problem...Helmet, put it on you get knocked out you can hit the other car loose control and end up anywhere. Look at the drivers you respect, you don't see them in shorts,Tshirts and no helmets and their cars pass TECH anywhere.....AMEN!!

Really there should be no reason for a Tech we should all know and follow the rules of safety, when everyone does we all benefit. When you are racing the person can kill you too, so you need them to be safe, and have a safe car. If you cann't afford to have a safe car to race then you can'nt afford to race!!!

oh trust me, when I say look out for #1 thats exactly what I mean, Not mentioning any names but I have really thought about not racing a couple rounds because knowing parts fly off some peoples cars ALL the time and people think its funny. I'm not saying my car wouldnt pass tech but I have raced at many tracks and only some of the actually tech cars anymore. And you really think I want one of my cars to be crushed because of someone elses stupidity.

I heard there was almost 70 total cars last weekend, that would make a pretty good class, (all run) sounds good to me no rules run what you brung bracket race, wont have as many crybabies then everyone will know the rules before you get there,(none)
